3. Compare and Contrast Educational Theories

Write an essay comparing and contrasting your personal theory of education (see 2 above) with two theorists from this site:

4. Research a new theory of education

Pick an individual from the Theorists in Education Gallery website that does not have an analysis linked to it and do that analysis, using the appropriate format, the synopsis form given at this site:

Do a criteriological analysis of some part of the theory of education you did research on in the previous assignment. Be careful to develop both critical and criteriological questions from it.

After reading this article, paying particular attention to the various conceptions of punishment described in it, consider the disciplinary practices in a school where you have either been a student, or have worked in. Describe these practices and identify what model of punishment, metaphorical, psychological, etc. they were based on.
